The selected activities are as follows, but the equipment can be used for a variety of different activities and experiments:
Density and the Deep Blue Sea - Create a test-tube with different coloured layers of water by changing the density of water.
Water, Water Everywhere - Create your own water cycle, test pH levels and make your own snow.
Fabulous Filtration - Build and test your own water filter.
The Unmixables - Create your own ‘lava’ bubbles whilst learning about why some liquids won’t mix.
Cosmic Crops - Discover how seeds can grow without soil and why hydroponics may have an important future.
Misbehaving Liquids - Explore why some liquids don’t always behave like other liquids by making your own gooey Non-Newtonian liquid.
